Practice Director – Church Walk Veterinary Centre, Ulverston

Our team of 5 vets working across 2 sites are supported by a stable team of 12 highly experience and committed qualified nurses and support staff who have an average length of service at the clinic of 14 years. The rota you will work will leave you with plenty of time to explore the surrounding country-side, or further via the easily accessible M6. Re-location packages can be discussed.

Not only will you be based within an outstanding part of the country, but you will work within a well-equipped practice with Doppler Ultrasonography, Video Endoscopy, Digital X-ray, In-house lab including Endocrinology, Electrocautery and Orthomed kit.

Debt Advisor

Serving our practices in the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.  Visiting practices and advising on their debt position, causes of debt and sharing best practice principles.  The role will involve overnight stays, one to two per week, but dependent on business needs.

Responsible for:

  • Arranging and prioritising visits to practices as requested by BSMs
  • Preparation of debt figures and graphs from centrally provided debt report, prior to visits
  • Review up to date aged debtors report in practice for Small Animal, Farm and Equine, and discuss the following:
  • Outstanding Daily Debt Report or equivalent
  • Insurance Claims direct and indirect
  • Allocation of payments/credits
  • BACS payments
  • Estimates and telephone calls following treatment/surgey
  • Categorisation of Debtors
