Have you come to a VMG Regional Meeting yet?

As a membership organisation, we are lucky to have a regional infrastructure that exists throughout the country to provide a forum for education, networking and the exchange of ideas.

A network of enthusiastic Regional Organisers (RO’s) maintain contact with members and run meetings locally which attract members and non-members, from all walks of practice life. Anyone who is interested in veterinary practice management is welcome to attend!

Regional meetings are often free to attend for VMG members. Why not come along and get updated and enjoy meeting other members in an informal environment? Topics include everything from finance to people management, customer service to legal matters. Have a look at what’s coming up below.

Regional Roadshows 2018!

In 2018 VMG will be getting on the road to fetch three varied, relevant and interesting topics to all regions. These sessions will last approximately 2 hours and will include a speaker who will deliver an interactive lecture on their topic with questions welcomed, followed by a cup of tea/coffee and a biscuit and time for a chat with colleagues from other practices of all types. Only VMG can offer you the chance to mingle with other dedicated professionals from veterinary businesses from all sectors including independents, groups, JVP’s and corporates! SIGN UP BELOW!

Roadshow 1 – GDPR and credit control with Mike Brooks of dsl (UK) Ltd Feb-Apr 2018.

Roadshow 2 – Practice Performance and Culture with Ru Clements and Stacey Davidson of VetLed Apr-Jul 2018.

Roadshow 3 – Client Retention during Pet Loss with Blue Cross May-Dec 2018 (in combination with Roadshow 2 on some dates, see below).

The RO’s are co-ordinated by our overall Regional Co-ordinator Cath Grimsey

“I feel that the VMG regions are an important part of the organisations development, as they help ensure that the membership is represented and grown at a local level. Please feel free to contact me at about issues you’d like to discuss at regional level. If you want to get involved in organising and co-hosting regional meetings, i’d love to hear from you too!”

Look through the table below to find out more about what’s going on in your part of the world and follow the links to sign up to your next regional meeting!

Check out your own regions’ page to learn more about your RO.

If you would like to help with a region or would like to consider becoming a Regional Organiser, please contact the VMG office at Please see page  ‘The Role of a Regional Organiser’ for more information on what it entails. Please note that this is a voluntary role and you need to be a VMG Member.

“Our thanks to all the current ROs for their continuing help and support!” Cath
